Qualifications

• Licensed Nurse within the State of Maine required.
• 2–5 years of nursing professional experience required.
• Two years of hematology/chemotherapy/oncology nursing experience preferred.
• OCN certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Point of contact for referring physicians, patients, and caregivers.
• Assist physicians and conduct patient assessments.
• Receive patient telephone calls and intervene appropriately.
• Follow up with patients to ensure compliance with treatment guidelines.
• Draw blood from ports, central lines, and peripheral IV access.
• Maintain patient care standards and ensure all tasks are completed safely.
