Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston is seeking an Oncology Nurse Navigator to guide patients and families through the cancer journey using individualized education and support. The ONN applies nursing process to assess needs, coordinate care, and promote timely, high-quality psychosocial services across the continuum.

Formación

• Education: ADN; BSN strongly preferred; ADN must pursue BSN within 4 years; ambulatory/oncology experience preferred.
• ONN residency or 1 year RN experience required; Oncology experience preferred.
• Licensed RN in MA/NH; BLS required; certifications preferred (OCN, BMTCN, CPHON, AOCNP, CRNI, RN-BC).

Responsabilidades

• Participates in day-to-day operations including patient education and call triage.
• Contributes to program evaluation and strategic goals.
• Supports QA/QI projects for the program.
• Delivers expert clinical care through evidenced-based practice partnerships with patients, families and colleagues.
• Acts as liaison between patients, families, and providers to optimize outcomes.
• Provides psychosocial support and facilitates appropriate referrals.
