AbbVie Oncology is seeking an experienced Oncology Nurse Educator to engage with allied healthcare professionals, delivering product and disease education across patient management before, during, and after therapy. This field-based role requires travel within the territory and collaboration with sales, marketing, and clinical teams to enhance education and patient care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in nursing; Masters in PA, NP, or CNS preferred.
• Current active HCP license.
• 7+ years clinical oncology/hematology experience; recent hematology experience preferred.
• Experience in academic and/or community oncology with Hematology/Oncology patients.
• Willing to travel up to 50% regionally & nationally; overnight travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic education leader across academic and community oncology accounts with approved resources.
• Develop customized educational plans based on account dynamics and clinical insights.
• Educate clinicians on patient identification and role of therapies for hematologic and solid tumors.
• Explain preparation and administration requirements and manage adverse events.
• Educate on initiating and managing patients per protocols and communicate clinical topics to diverse audiences.
• Provide education programs through 1:1 presentations, in-services, and round-table discussions.
