Job summary

AbbVie Oncology is hiring a field-based Oncology Nurse Educator to support allied health professionals with disease and product education for cancer patients. You will develop and deliver education programs, coordinate with sales and medical teams, and travel across the CA territory to healthcare accounts.

You will engage with clinicians, conduct in-services, and help improve patient management through education on dosing, administration and side effects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing, NP, PA or PharmD required
• Master’s degree preferred
• Current active HCP license
• 7+ years clinical oncology/hematology experience; recent hematology, preferably multiple myeloma
• Experience in academic or community oncology practice with Hematology/Oncology patients
• Strong communication, presentation and analytical skills
• Ability to travel up to 50% and drive a company vehicle

Responsibilities

• Serve as strategic education leader across academic and community oncology accounts with approved resources
• Develop customized educational plans based on account dynamics and clinical insights
• Educate clinicians on patient identification and therapy roles for hematologic and solid tumors
• Educate on product preparation, administration and adverse event management
• Provide education to patient care teams and participate in meetings and exhibits
• Collaborate with internal teams (sales, marketing, clinical operations)
• Document interactions and manage educational resources
