Job summary

AbbVie Oncology is seeking an experienced Oncology Nurse Educator to support allied health care professionals with disease and product education for hematologic and solid tumor malignancies. This is a field-based role serving the California territory, including Los Angeles North, Bakersfield, Fresno, Stockton, Modesto and surrounding areas, with up to 50% travel.

You will develop tailored education plans, deliver 1:1 trainings, and collaborate with internal teams to optimize patient management

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing, NP, PA or PharmD required (Master's preferred).
• 7+ years clinical oncology/hematology experience; recent hematology experience preferred.
• Excellent communication, objective setting, influencing, and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% including potential overnight travel.

Responsibilities

• Serve as education leader across academic and community oncology accounts with approved resources.
• Develop customized educational plans based on account dynamics and clinical insights.
• Educate clinicians on patient identification and role of therapies for hematologic and solid tumors.
• Explain preparation, administration, and adverse event management of products.
• Deliver 1:1 presentations/in-services and round-table discussions as approved.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and clinical operations to enhance training initiatives.
