Job summary

AbbVie is seeking an Oncology Nurse Educator to proactively educate allied healthcare professionals on hematologic and solid tumor therapies. This field-based role supports patient management education across a multi-state territory including Austin, Houston, Louisiana and surrounding areas.

Strong clinical oncology background and HCIR credentialing are essential. The role emphasizes developing educational plans, presenting at meetings, and collaborating with sales, medical, and clinical teams

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in nursing or PA required.
Master’s degree in PA/NP/CNS preferred.
Current active HCP license.
7+ years clinical oncology/hematology experience with recent hematology experience.
Up to 50% travel regionally & nationally.
HCIR credentialing requirements must be satisfied.

Responsibilities

Serve as a strategic education leader across academic and community oncology accounts with approved resources.
Develop a customized educational plan addressing account dynamics and clinical insights.
Educate clinicians on therapy indications, dosing, administration, and adverse event management.
Deliver education programs via 1:1 presentations, in-services, and other approved formats.
Document customer interactions and optimize resource allocation.
