Job summary

UPMC Hillman Cancer Center in Mt. Pleasant, PA seeks an experienced Regular Full-Time OP Nurse Coordinator I (RN) to support the Frick Medical Oncology/Infusion office.

This role offers a $6,000 sign-on bonus and a Daylight schedule Monday through Friday to manage daily nursing activities. The Professional Nurse Coordinator functions as part of the care delivery team, providing holistic patient care, coordinating with physicians, families, and community resources, and guiding patients through

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years nursing experience.
• Oncology experience preferred.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day nursing activities for Frick location and care teams.
• Provide patient-centered care planning and education for outpatient oncology patients.
• Collaborate with physicians, families, and community resources to optimize patient outcomes.
• Lead and mentor nursing staff and maintain compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
• Actively participate in quality improvement and care coordination efforts.
