Job summary

UPMC Hillman Cancer Center in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking a Regular Full-Time Professional Staff Nurse, ONC (RN) to support the Medical Oncology team on the 4th floor. This role includes a $6,000 sign-on bonus and a daylight schedule, Monday through Friday, as a Treatment/Infusion Nurse supporting the Mario Lemieux Center.

The incumbent will set standards of care, supervise patient care activities, and collaborate with physicians and families to achieve optimal outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must maintain RN licensure and demonstrate competencies in clinical nursing.
• Experience in oncology or infusion settings preferred.
• Strong collaboration and patient-family communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Participates in quality improvement efforts and increases patient satisfaction with care.
• Demonstrates accountability and supports governance, and team partnership.
• Fosters productive relationships with physicians, staff, patients, and families.
• Applies adult learning principles for teaching patients and families.
