Job summary

UPMC Hillman Cancer Center in New Castle, PA is hiring a Regular Full-Time Professional Staff Nurse, ONC (RN) to join the New Castle Medical Oncology office. The daylight schedule Monday through Friday and a $6,000 sign-on bonus accompany this Treatment/Infusion nursing role.

As a Registered Nurse, you will lead care delivery, establish standards, collaborate with physicians and families, and participate in quality improvement efforts within the team and across the continuum of care.

Qualifications

• RN license required
• Oncology nursing experience preferred
• Strong collaboration and leadership abilities

Responsibilities

• Participates in quality improvement and patient care improvement initiatives
• Maintains accountability for professional practice and staffing needs
• Builds productive relationships with physicians, patients, and families
• Provides teaching to patients, families, students and new staff
• Applies nursing process within Relationship Based Care to create a healing environment
