Qualifications

• Completion of a Nurse Assistant program (e.g., Patient Care Technician or Patient Assistant Technician) OR enrollment in nursing program with Fundamentals of Nursing completed OR foreign-trained and licensed RN without Michigan RN license OR Medical Assistant program with or without experience OR at least one year of experience in a similar role.

Schedule Requirements

• Minimum of 3 shifts per 6-week schedule period
• Maximum of 96 hours prescheduled in a 6-week period
• Shifts are 12 hours in length
• Minimum of 2 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule period (Friday 1500 – Monday 0730)
• Must work at least 1 summer and 1 winter holiday
  • Summer: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day
  • Winter: Thanksgiving, Christmas/Eve, New Year’s Day
• Will also work one of the following shifts: Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, or the Day after Christmas
