Johns Hopkins Medicine’s Suburban Hospital in Bethesda, MD seeks a Patient Care Technician (PCT) for the Oncology unit. Night shift, 7p–7:30a, 36 hours weekly with weekend work required.

The PCT provides direct patient care under a nurse's supervision, using basic clinical skills, documenting clinical information, and operating specialized patient care equipment to ensure safe, compassionate care. Required: High School diploma, Maryland CNA cert, current BLS CPR, and 1 year of clinical

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent
• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification on Maryland Board of Nursing
• Current BLS CPR certification provided by AHA, American Red Cross, or Military Training Network
• One year of clinical experience is required

Responsabilités

• Performs direct patient care tasks under supervision of a nurse
• Utilizes basic clinical skills to support daily patient care activities
• Accurately records and reports pertinent clinical information
• Demonstrates proficiency in use of specialized patient care equipment
