Job summary

The Johns Hopkins Hospital is seeking a Patient Care Tech I – PCT I for the Adult Oncology 5CD unit on a full-time night shift (36 hours per week). You will provide patient- and family-centered care as part of a skilled healthcare team, with eight days of first-year training off the unit to support your development.

You will work on an IMC/ICU unit serving hematologic malignancies and transplant patients, with access to cutting-edge therapies and clinical trials.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Active Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA) in Maryland is required.
• One year of clinical experience in care settings.
• BLS CPR certification required: AHA, Red Cross, or Military Training Network accepted.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient- and family-centered care as part of the health care team.
• Support adult Oncology IMC/ICU patients (Weinberg 5C) with skilled, compassionate care.
• Participate in ongoing education and unit training programs.
