The incumbent will transcribe and report dictated oncology reports, including immunohistochemical, histology, flow cytometry, and FISH reporting, ensuring high accuracy and timely distribution.

The role requires a high school diploma and formal medical transcription training, with a minimum of three years of transcription experience, preferably in oncology.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Formal medical transcription training completed.
• Three years minimum experience as a medical transcriptionist; oncology transcription preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Transcribe and QA dictated diagnostic/interpretive oncology reports.
• Complete reports with accuracy above 98% and meet turnaround times.
• Manage dictation files/voice module and ensure timely distribution of reports.
• Handle transport of charts and documents and maintain flow slides and folders.
• Communicate effectively with pathologists and laboratory staff to complete tasks.
