Job summary

CSI Laboratories, a Fulgent Genetics Company, is seeking a Medical Transcriptionist to transcribe and QA dictated diagnostic/interpretive oncology reports, including immunohistochemical, histology, flow cytometry, and FISH reporting.

You will maintain accuracy above 98% and manage dictation files while coordinating with pathologists and lab personnel to ensure timely report completion. Prior oncology transcription experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Documented completion of formal medical transcription training or related coursework.
• Three years minimum experience as a medical transcriptionist, with preferably a minimum of one year of experience in oncology-specific transcription.

Responsibilities

• Transcription and QA of dictated diagnostic/interpretive oncology reports.
• Complete reports with maintenance of at least 98% accuracy.
• Complete reports in a time-efficient manner consistent with the required turnaround time.
• Efficiently manage dictation files/voice module.
• Maintain filing for flow folders and the flow slides.
• Maintain departmental organization for workflow facilitation.
• Communicate effectively with pathologists and laboratory/ancillary personnel to complete tasks.
