Job summary

Amgen seeks an Oncology Medical Science Liaison to cover WA, OR, AK, ID, MT with home base in Seattle or Portland. The role advances Amgen's scientific platform by engaging Oncology Healthcare Decision Makers and supporting research initiatives.

The MSL will deliver clinical and economic data, train speakers’ bureau members, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Required are advanced degrees and relevant Medical Affairs experience; sponsorship and flexible work options apply.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree required, or equivalent.
• Master’s degree with 3 years of Medical Affairs experience.
• Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of Medical Affairs experience.
• Pharm.D., Ph.D., M.D. or D.O. is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interact with Oncology Healthcare Decision Makers to communicate and advance the scientific platform in line with Amgen's goals, especially prostate cancer.
• Communicate clinical and economic value information to payers and formulary decision makers.
• Identify and train members of Amgen’s speakers’ bureau and ensure they are updated on new data.
• Support Amgen sponsored research and respond to investigator-initiated proposals.
• Provide scientific support to commercial, corporate accounts and other teams as needed.
• Mentor MSLs and contribute to MSL strategy and leadership.
