Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Medical Science Liaison for the Oncology focus based in Seattle, with a territory spanning WA, OR, AK, ID, MT. This role will communicate and advance Amgen’s scientific platform to healthcare decision makers, emphasizing prostate cancer data and outcomes.

You will build and train Amgen’s speakers’ bureau, respond to investigator-initiated proposals, and provide scientific support across commercial and medical teams while expanding professional relationships in the region.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree and 3 years of Medical Affairs experience.
• Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of Medical Affairs experience.
• 3+ years in a medically related field with clinical practice/research experience.
• Current experience in Scientific/Medical Affairs at a biotech or pharmaceutical company.
• Oncology and/or Hematology therapeutic area expertise.

Responsibilities

• Interact with Oncology Healthcare Decision Makers to communicate and advance the scientific platform.
• Identify and train speakers’ bureau members and ensure they are updated on new data.
• Respond to requests for investigator sponsored research proposals.
• Support Amgen sponsored research.
• Provide scientific support for commercial, corporate accounts, and other matrix colleagues.
• Foster scientific relationships with Fellows in training.
• Lead or participate on committees or project teams supporting MSL strategies.
