The Division of Hematology-Oncology and Blood & Marrow Transplantation has a broad mission, covering benign and malignant hematology and solid tumor oncology. Faculty lead over 200 active clinical research trials across various cancers and blood disorders. The division operates Iowa's only FACT-accredited bone marrow transplant unit and provides services at University of Iowa Health Care, the Iowa City VA Medical Center, and several regional outreach sites in southeast Iowa.
