Job Description

We are seeking dedicated, patient-focused physicians licensed in at least three states to join our team. Whether your background is in primary care, internal medicine, addiction medicine, emergency medicine, or urgent care, this role offers an opportunity to practice modern, high-quality medicine without the constraints of a traditional practice setting. Most services are fully virtual, with potential in-person hybrid options.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional virtual care, including patient assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate medical treatment.
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care, building therapeutic doctor-patient relationships.
• Order and interpret lab tests as needed to make informed, high-quality treatment decisions.
• Prescribe medications and provide guidance on their proper usage (QuickMD does not prescribe controlled substances, except for buprenorphine for opioid addiction).
• Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, experienced nurses, and support staff for comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation to support continuity of care.
• Stay updated with medical advancements, telehealth innovations, and best practices.

Requirements

• Active medical license in at least three U.S. states, preferably five, with willingness to obtain additional licenses (assistance provided and costs covered).
• Licensing in high-demand states such as AL, CA, IN, MS, NC, PA, SC, and VA is beneficial.
• Experience in telehealth or high-volume in-person settings.
• Ability to work at least 15 hours weekly (8AM-6PM local time), over four days, scheduled at least one week in advance.
• Strong communication skills and commitment to medical excellence.
• Comfort using telemedicine platforms and EMRs (training provided).
• Passion for expanding access to care and making a meaningful impact.
• At least one DEA certification and applicable CSL if required.

All physicians are required to complete applicable training, including buprenorphine training if applicable. Malpractice insurance is provided (coverage: 3 million/1 million). A 1099 form is issued at year-end.
