Job Description

We are seeking dedicated, patient-focused physicians licensed in at least three U.S. states, preferably five, with willingness to obtain additional state licenses (assistance provided and costs covered). Whether your background is in primary care, internal medicine, addiction medicine, emergency medicine, or urgent care, this role provides an opportunity to practice modern, high-quality medicine without the constraints of a traditional practice setting. While most of our services are fully virtual, in-person hybrid opportunities may be available.

Responsibilities

1. Provide exceptional virtual care, including patient assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate medical treatment.
2. Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care, building therapeutic doctor-patient relationships.
3. Order and interpret lab tests as needed to make informed, high-quality treatment decisions.
4. Prescribe medications and provide guidance on their proper usage (QuickMD does not prescribe controlled substances, except for buprenorphine for opioid addiction).
5. Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, experienced nurses, and support staff to ensure comprehensive patient care.
6. Maintain accurate medical documentation to support continuity of care.
7. Stay updated with medical advancements, telehealth innovations, and best practices.

Requirements

1. Active medical license in at least three U.S. states, preferably five, with willingness to obtain additional licenses (assistance provided and costs covered).
2. Helpful to be licensed in high-demand states like AL, CA, IN, MS, NC, PA, SC, and VA.
3. Experience in telehealth or high-volume in-person settings.
4. Ability to work at least 15 hours weekly (8AM-6PM local time), over four days, scheduled at least one week in advance.
5. Strong communication skills and commitment to medical excellence.
6. Comfort using telemedicine platforms and EMRs (training provided).
7. Passion for expanding access to care and making a meaningful impact.
8. At least one DEA certification and applicable CSL if required.
