Job Opportunity: Physician - Oncology in Coos Bay, OR

Join our esteemed team in the serene community of Coos Bay, Oregon, where exceptional work-life balance meets coastal charm. We are seeking a full-time or part-time Medical Oncologist and/or Hematologist to join our renowned cancer center, serving as the primary hub for top-tier cancer care across the southern coast of Oregon.

Job Responsibilities:

• Accepting part-time (48 hours per pay period) and full-time (80 hours per pay period) candidates.
• BE (within 2 years) / BC in Medical Oncology and/or Hematology required.
• Preferred experience in Radiation Oncology or an excellent recent graduate.
• Manage an outpatient clinic with 10-15 patients per day.
• Conduct only outpatient clinic visits; no inpatient consults.
• Utilize a state-of-the-art, new 19-chair infusion room.
• Collaborate with onsite mixing pharmacy and nurse navigation.
• Participate in a 1:4 call rotation, primarily critical lab calls.
• Engage in leading-edge clinical trials affiliated with Oregon Health & Sciences University.
• Enjoy a collaborative environment with a high caliber infusion team.

Qualifications:

• Board Eligible (within 2 years) or Board Certified in Medical Oncology and/or Hematology.
• Willingness to obtain an Oregon state medical license.
• Experience in Radiation Oncology is highly preferred.
• BLS certification or willingness to obtain.
• Must have ties to Oregon, such as family or prior residence in the state.
• Clean background with no malpractice claims is highly preferred.
