You will perform venipuncture, document results in the EMR, prepare slides, and coordinate outside testing while ensuring patient safety and regulatory compliance. The role may require travel to other clinics and occasional overtime.

Qualifications

• High School or GED is required.
• BLS certification required.
• One year of medical assistant experience with venipuncture.
• Must have a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality control procedures before patient testing.
• Perform laboratory blood work and venipuncture.
• Prepare slides for evaluation and handle specimen processing.
• Coordinate outside tests and referrals as needed.
• Document tests and procedures in EMR and charge appropriately.
• Maintain logs and equipment records per regulations.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and HIPAA compliance.
• Assist in multiple-site operations and overtime as required.
