Job summary

American Oncology Network, Inc. is seeking a Medical Assistant for the Southeast office to support physicians with in-office procedures, phlebotomy, and laboratory testing. You will perform blood draws, vitals, and QA/QC, while documenting in the Onco EMR system.

Responsibilities include assisting with procedures such as bone marrow sampling and pelvic exams, coordinating outside tests and referrals, and maintaining supply inventory. Some travel to other clinics may be required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• BLS certification is required by state.
• At least 1 year as a medical assistant with venipuncture ability.
• Valid driver's license and travel to other clinics as needed.
• Proficiency with MS Office and EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with procedures and collect specimens.
• Perform phlebotomy, lab tests, quality control, and document results.
• Take vital signs and document in EMR; prepare room for physicians.
• Schedule outside testing and referrals; maintain logs and inventory.
• Troubleshoot instruments and ensure regulatory compliance.
