Job summary

Banner Health in Gilbert, AZ is seeking a Medical Assistant to support clinicians and nursing staff in direct patient care. The role includes vital signs, EKGs, phlebotomy, and room preparation, with a Monday–Friday day schedule and a $2,000 sign-on bonus for experienced MAs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; completion of an approved MA program.
• Active Medical Assistant Certification required; BLS preferred.
• Experience with EMR and scheduling software highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for exams and treatments; record vital signs and chief complaints.
• Assist with exams and minor procedures; perform phlebotomy as needed.
• Coordinate patient care, referrals, and scheduling; document results.
• Maintain clean exam rooms and stock supplies; ensure sterile techniques.
• Provide clerical support and accurate documentation for billing.
