Qualifications

• Completion of an approved medical assistant training program as defined by state regulations.
• Active Medical Assistant Certification is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• Strong computer skills and ability to work with medical software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for exams and document vital signs and chief complaints.
• Assist with exams and minor procedures and maintain patient flow.
• Coordinate pre-certifications, referrals, authorizations, and scheduling.
• Provide clerical support and ensure accurate medical records and billing data.
• Maintain clean clinical areas and proper disinfection of equipment.
• Order supplies and manage medication-related tasks as directed.
