Qualifications

• 1-3 years experience.
• Medical Technician Registration or MA Certification.

Responsibilities

• Assists in conducting clinical care activities under the direction of a provider.
• Sets up for and assists the provider during examinations and procedures.
• Assists with dressing changes and facilitates patient flow.
• Obtains clinical data such as vital signs, height and weight; records accurately.
• Cleans instruments or treatment areas; stocks rooms with supplies.
• May perform phlebotomy and collect lab specimens.
• Performs administrative duties: phone inquiries, chart organization, records maintenance.
• May transport patients between departments.
• May schedule pre-admission and diagnostic testing.
