Qualifications

• 3–5 years of Oncology clinical experience.
• BSN required; OCN preferred or within one year.
• Current RN license in NH or another Compact State.
• Demonstrated leadership ability with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to patient safety, staff engagement, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Directs and coordinates daily departmental operations in alignment with the organization’s mission, vision, and values.
• Partners with the Manager/Director in all aspects of personnel management, including recruitment, hiring, performance evaluation, coaching, corrective action, and termination.
• Assists in developing, implementing, and evaluating standards of care for the ED patient population in accordance with current evidence-based nursing practice.
• Contributes to budget development, manpower planning, and cost-containment strategies.
• Supports staff orientation, ongoing education, and competency validation.
• Participates in departmental, divisional, and organizational committees, meetings, and projects aligned with strategic goals.
