Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Graduate from a Medical Assistant program with a 160-hour clinical externship.
• Alternatively, 1 year of clinical MA experience in the past five years.
• EPIC EMR experience is preferred.
• Licensure options include LPN or EMT/Paramedic credentials.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients at arrival and escort to exam rooms.
• Obtain and record patient histories and vital signs.
• Prepare patients for examinations and assist during procedures.
• Administer medications and injections as directed.
• Perform basic labs and collect specimens.
• Schedule appointments and manage medical records.
• Maintain cleanliness and sterilization of rooms and instruments.
• Provide patient education on procedures and care.
• Assist in minor surgical procedures and wound care.
• Support inventory management and supply ordering.
