Job summary

Wellstar Health System seeks an RN on the Oncology Medical-Surgical Unit for a night shift (7pm-7am) at Cobb Hospital. The role emphasizes patient-centered, evidence-based care on a twenty-eight-bed unit serving adult cancer patients.

Qualifications

• RN license required and in good standing.
• BLS certification required at hire unless stated otherwise.
• Minimum 6 months RN direct patient care experience.

Responsibilities

• Apply the Nursing Process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation) to deliver individualized patient care.
• Provide relationship-based, patient-centered care reflecting cultural diversity.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and staff through rounds, teaching, and goal-oriented care planning.
• Promote evidence-based practice and participate in performance improvement activities.
