Job summary

Wellstar Health System’s Cobb Hospital is hiring a Clinical Nurse for the Night shift in the Med/Surg Oncology Unit. You will join an interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality inpatient cancer care around the clock, while adhering to standards and Wellstar policies.

The role emphasizes evidence-based practice, patient-centered care, and collaboration with care managers and leadership to support service excellence goals. A strong nursing foundation and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Licensed registered nurse with current Georgia licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required on hire.
• Direct patient care experience in med/surg oncology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide exemplary nursing assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care.
• Deliver patient-centered care with emphasis on safety and evidence-based practice.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure care goals are achieved.
• Document thoroughly and participate in performance improvement activities.
• Participate in patient and family teaching and discharge planning.
