Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Night shift on the Oncology Med-Surg Unit at Cobb Hospital in Georgia. The RN will function within an interdisciplinary team to provide high-quality, safe patient care for adult oncology in inpatient settings, supported by evidence-based practice and Wellstar’s governance model.

The role requires an active Nursing license (GA), BLS certification, and 6 months of RN experience.

Qualifications

• Associates or Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (preferred).
• RN licenses required upon hire (GA) such as RN license/compact.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs the Nursing Process with evidence-based practice.
• Delivers patient-centered care with cultural sensitivity.
• Partners with patients and families through interdisciplinary rounds and teaching.
• Coordinates care and documents actions to ensure safety and quality outcomes.
