Job summary

American Oncology Network, Inc. is seeking an LPN to assist physicians and RNs in patient care, including IV therapy, specimen handling, and administration of medications. The role requires strong documentation in OncoEMR, patient education, and coordination of charges via Nucleus.

Travel to clinics as needed and participation in safety trainings are expected. The ideal candidate holds an LPN license with IV therapy experience, CPR/BLS, and excellent communication skills in English.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse license is required.
• Current CPR and BLS certification.
• Fluency in English with excellent communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license to travel to clinics.

Responsibilities

• Administer chemotherapeutic agents under supervision.
• Assist in IV therapy and patient assessment.
• Document in OncoEMR and prepare superbill for charges.
• Educate patients and families about medications and treatment plans.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient and staff information.
• Assist with inventory and re-stocking of medical supplies.
• Train new staff on duties and policies.
• Work at multiple AON locations as needed.
