Job summary

American Oncology Network, Inc. is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to assist physicians and RNs in patient care at multiple clinical locations.

The role includes IV therapy, specimen collection, medication administration, and thorough documentation in OncoEMR, with an emphasis on safety and patient education. The ideal candidate holds an LPN license with IV therapy experience, current CPR/BLS, strong English communication, and a valid driver’s license for clinic visits.

Qualifications

• LPN license with IV therapy experience preferred.
• If required by state, complete a 30-hour IV certification within 90 days of employment.
• Current CPR and BLS certification required.
• Fluency in English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license to travel to clinics.

Responsibilities

• Safely and accurately mix and administer chemotherapeutic agents as ordered by physicians, under RN supervision.
• Assist in obtaining lab samples and performing basic lab procedures per regulatory standards.
• Document treatment in OncoEMR and prepare superbill for charges.
• Maintain accurate logs, quality control records, and reagent/cycle counts in Nucleus.
• Provide patient education on medications, side effects, and treatment plans.
