Job summary

Oncology Consultants - Medical Center CCO Office in Houston seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the oncology care team. You will assist physicians and RNs, administer chemotherapy under supervision, draw labs, and ensure accurate documentation in OncoEMR.

Must have an LPN license, IV therapy experience, CPR/BLS, a valid driver’s license for clinic travel, and excellent English communication.

Qualifications

• Appropriate state license as an LPN with IV therapy experience preferred.
• CPR and BLS certification required.
• English language proficiency and strong communication skills required.
• Valid driver’s license to travel to clinics.

Responsibilities

• Safely mix and administer chemotherapeutic agents under supervision of RNs and physicians.
• Assist in obtaining lab samples.
• Perform technical laboratory procedures in compliance with regulatory agencies.
• Document treatment in OncoEMR and prepare superbill for charges.
• Handle telephone triage and relay messages from patients and facilities.
• Assist with inventory and restocking of medical supplies.
• Train new employees and support cross-location coverage as needed.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to IT and Disaster Recovery policies.
