Job summary

• Verify patient identity, medication orders, allergies, dosage, route, timing, and parameters before administering medications.
• Obtain and document vital signs, symptoms, medication updates, and other pertinent patient information.
• Document medication administration, injection sites, patient responses, education, and communications in the EMR.
• Protect patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA, OSHA, and HOAPB policies.
