Job summary

Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute in Lake Worth, FL is seeking a dedicated LPN to support physicians and RNs in patient care within our oncology clinics. You will assist with chemotherapy administration and patient assessments in a fast-paced cancer care environment.

The role requires current Florida LPN licensure, IV therapy experience, strong communication, and a valid driver's license for clinic travel. Training and a supportive team are provided.

Qualifications

• Active Florida LPN license required.
• Experience in IV therapy in clinic or hospital is preferred.
• Prior Oncology experience preferred.
• 30 hour IV certification course OR completion of 30 hour IV certification course within 90 days of employment.
• Current CPR certification is required.
• BLS required upon hire or must be obtained within 30 days of employment (FCS will provide BLS course within first 30 days).
• Fluency in English and excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license in the resident state to travel to clinics.

Responsibilities

• Assist physician and RNs in the care of patients by performing one or more of the following duties.
• Administering chemotherapy agents
• Preparing chemotherapy agents
• Patient assessments/triage
• Medical record documentation
• Patient/family education
