Hematology Oncology Associates of the Palm Beaches is seeking an experienced registered nurse to join our cancer care team in Palm Beach County. You will perform comprehensive pre-treatment and ongoing nursing assessments, administer antineoplastic therapies, manage vascular access, and monitor patients for infusion reactions.

You will educate patients and caregivers, document thoroughly in the electronic health record, and coordinate with pharmacy for timely medication preparation.

Competenze

• Perform comprehensive pre-treatment and ongoing nursing assessments.
• Verify provider orders, treatment plans, informed consent before administration.
• Administer antineoplastic agents and supportive therapies within scope.
• Establish and maintain IV access, ports, and central venous catheters.
• Monitor during and after treatment; manage infusion reactions and emergencies.
• Educate patients and caregivers about treatment, adverse effects, and self-care.
• Document assessments, medications, and responses in the EHR promptly.

• Coordinate with pharmacy for timely medication preparation and delivery.
• Maintain emergency readiness and infection prevention standards.
• Travel to satellite locations and float to other offices as needed.
