Job summary

Rocky Mountain Cancer Centers in Longmont, CO is seeking an experienced Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) to join our clinical laboratory team.

This full-time position offers daytime hours, with emphasis on accurate specimen processing, quality control and cooperative teamwork to support timely cancer diagnoses and patient care. MLS requires bachelor's; MLT requires associate degree and licensure where applicable.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in medical technology, clinical laboratory science, or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or Clinical Laboratory Science for MLS role.

Responsibilities

• Follows procedures for specimen handling, testing, reporting and records.
• Performs Hematology specimen analysis and maintains equipment.
• Maintains QC records, calibrations and instrument maintenance.
• Oversees daily lab activities in supervisor’s absence, when needed.
