Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or MLS-equivalent in a relevant science field required.
• Certification as MLS/MLT or eligibility/certification within 6 months of hire.
• Experience with lab information systems preferred.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of laboratory tests on blood, tissue, and body fluids.
• Analyze test results to provide accurate data for diagnosis.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and calibrations.
• Implement and monitor quality control procedures.
• Prepare samples and handle specimens per protocols to prevent contamination.
• Record and report data to healthcare providers.
• Maintain laboratory safety and regulatory compliance.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and collaborate with clinicians.
