This role blends patient interaction with laboratory operations, offering hands‑on experience in phlebotomy, specimen management, and workflow coordination across cancer care clinics.

You will work with oncology clinicians and lab staff to ensure timely, accurate results, participate in safety initiatives, and help maintain a patient‑centered laboratory environment.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Graduate or Equivalent; or MLA CSC with required coursework.
• Must meet CLIA education requirements for testing complexity.
• MLA (ASCP) licensure or eligible within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Receive, prepare, and manage patient specimens for testing.
• Support daily laboratory operations in ambulatory cancer care clinics.
• Coordinate specimen routing and transport with Core Laboratory teams.
• Assist with workflow management and operational support.
• Perform phlebotomy and patient-facing laboratory activities as needed.
• Collaborate with oncology clinicians and care teams to ensure seamless care.
• Contribute to quality, safety protocols, and service excellence initiatives.
• Maintain an organized, efficient, patient-focused lab environment.
