Texas Oncology in Plano East is seeking a Pharmacy Technician (IV Admixture) for a full-time, Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm role with no weekends or major holidays. The position supports clinic admixture operations and inventory management under supervision.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma and a CPhT; IV admixture experience is a plus. Our team emphasizes accuracy, compliance, and patient safety in a growing, state-of-the-art setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred per state requirements.
• Experience in pharmacy with IV admixture is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assists with preparation of medication orders by compounding or admixing under supervision.
• Checks orders for completeness and verifies patient information and physician authorization.
• Under supervision, admixes drugs as ordered and prepares all drugs per guidelines.
• Calculates correct dosage volumes and converts between units.
• Maintains temperature logs and logs for protocol drugs and patient assistance drugs.
• Maintains proper documentation of medications including lot numbers.
