Job summary

Texas Oncology in Denison is seeking a Pharmacy Technician (IV Admixture) to support our clinic admixture room. This full-time role offers a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:30am to 5pm, with no weekends or major holidays.

The Tech will perform sterile compounding, order verification, and inventory control under supervision. Experience in IV admixture is highly preferred; a Pharmacy Technician cert is recommended by state laws.

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent.
Certified Pharmacy Technician certificate recommended unless required by state law.
IV sterile compounding experience highly preferred.
IV certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist with preparation of medication orders by compounding or admixing under supervision.
Check orders for completeness and verify patient information and physician authorization.
Admix drugs as ordered, adhering to guidelines and regulations.
Maintain temperature logs and quality assurance documentation.
Manage inventory, lot numbers, and expiration dating as appropriate.
Provide label prep, data entry and pre-billing review as directed.
