Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Main Campus in Cleveland, OH is seeking an Oncology Pharmacy Technician to join the Inpatient Pharmacy team. The role supports distribution and clinical services for 60 nursing units, 80 operating rooms, and 10 cath labs, contributing to high-quality patient care.

You will prepare medications, manage inventory, and work a rotating schedule with five 8-hour shifts, including weekends. Requires HS diploma, CPhT, OBOP registration, and oncology/pharmacy tech training; hospital

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) through PTCB or NHA upon hire.
• Active OBOP registration required (Pharmacy Technician/Technician Trainee/Certified Technician).
• Must update OBOP registration within 6 months to Certified Technician.

Responsibilities

• Prepare medications through selecting, labeling, repacking, non-sterile and sterile compounding.
• Deliver medications to storage locations accurately and timely.
• Maintain inventories and perform cycle counts and unit inspections.
• Maintain safe, clean work area and document temperature logs and training.
• Use information systems and automation to complete tasks.
• Assist with training of pharmacy staff and students.
