Job summary

Loudoun Oncology/Hematology in Lansdowne, VA, seeks a part-time RN Infusion (PRN) to provide safe, accurate cancer care in a multi-site setting. Qualifications

• Nursing degree required.
• Unencumbered RN license in state of employment.
• Current CPR and BLS certifications.
• Valid driver’s license for travel to clinic locations as needed.
• Experience with hematology/oncology patients in a clinic or hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Safely and accurately administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, biotherapy, supportive care, and non-oncologic agents as ordered.
• Perform patient assessments, review labs and vital signs, and ensure drug safety and dose verification.
• Document all treatments thoroughly in EMR with accurate charge capture.
• Provide patient and caregiver education on medications, side effects, and treatment plans.
• Handle telephone triage and prioritize patient calls from emergency to non-urgent.
• Assist with inventory management and stocking of medical supplies; participate in safety training and meetings.
