Job summary

American Oncology Network, Inc. is seeking a part-time RN Infusion nurse (PRN) to support Oncology/Hematology of Loudoun and Reston sites. You will assess patients, review labs, and safely administer chemotherapy and related therapies.

The role requires an active RN license, CPR/BLS, hematology/oncology experience, and accurate EMR documentation, with strong communication and the ability to support multiple clinic locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree required.
• Unencumbered RN license in state of employment or multi-state license.
• Current CPR and BLS certifications.
• Experience with hematology/oncology patients in a clinic or hospital setting.
• Fluency in English with excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely and accurately administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, biotherapy, supportive care, and non-oncologic agents to patients as ordered by providers.
• Provide patient education and triage care within JBIs and guidelines.
• Maintain thorough, accurate EMR documentation of treatments and ensure correct charges.
• Assist with inventory and stocking of medical supplies; participate in mandatory trainings.
