Job summary

American Oncology Network is seeking an experienced registered nurse for Oncology/Hematology of Loudoun and Reston. You will provide safe patient care, assess and monitor patients, review labs and administer chemotherapy and other therapies.

The role requires strong communication, documentation in EMR, and adherence to JBIs and safety guidelines. Responsibilities include patient education, triage by phone, and collaboration with the care team.

Qualifications

• Unencumbered RN license in state of employment or multi-state license.
• Current CPR and BLS certifications.
• Valid driver's license and vehicle for travel to other clinic locations as needed.
• Experience with hematology/oncology patients in a clinic or hospital setting.
• Fluency in English with excellent oral and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Safely administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, biotherapy, and other agents as ordered.
• Review labs, vital signs, dose verification and drug administration.
• Provide patient education and triage care when necessary.
• Document in EMR promptly and accurately; ensure proper charges.
• Communicate patient condition to multidisciplinary team effectively.
