Job summary

UNC Health's Garner Oncology Infusion Center seeks an energetic Registered Nurse with oncology and infusion therapy expertise to join a patient‑centered team. The role focuses on delivering safe, evidence‑based nursing care in an outpatient infusion setting, with on-site chemotherapy education and strong collaboration with the care team.

The clinic operates Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, and offers incentives through the UNC Rex program, relocation assistance where applicable, and an employee

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an approved school of professional nursing.
• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provides competent clinical nursing care in oncology infusion settings.
• Coordinates and delivers patient care using the nursing process.
• Educates patients and families and promotes readiness to learn.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team for discharge planning and care coordination.
• Performs infusion therapies and monitors for safety and efficacy.
