Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an experienced Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) to join a high-volume oncology infusion setting in Webster, TX. You will administer chemotherapy and immunotherapy, perform patient assessments, and collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure safe treatment delivery.

The ideal candidate has oncology infusion experience, strong IV skills, BLS, and OCN certification, with readiness to work across multiple clinic locations in the Webster market.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted RN license.
• Min 2+ years oncology infusion nursing experience.
• Experience administering chemotherapy and immunotherapy.
• ONS Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy Provider Card required (can be acquired after offer).
• Strong peripheral IV skills; central line management including Ports and PICC lines.
• Current BLS certification and OCN preferred.
• Outpatient oncology infusion center experience; high-volume patient care.

Responsibilities

• Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and supportive infusion treatments in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
• Assess patients before, during, and after infusion treatments while monitoring for adverse reactions and complications.
• Establish and maintain venous access, including peripheral IV starts, implanted ports, and PICC lines.
• Access, flush, and maintain central venous access devices according to best practices.
• Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans, medications, potential side effects, and post-treatment care.
• Accurately document assessments, treatments, and patient responses in the EMR.
• Collaborate with oncologists, advanced practice providers, pharmacists, and clinic staff to coordinate patient care.
• Maintain compliance with safety standards, infection control practices, and oncology-specific protocols.
• Respond appropriately to infusion-related emergencies and changes in patient condition.
