Job summary

Insight Global's oncology clinic in Houston seeks a seasoned Infusion RN to join their team. You will plan, implement, and coordinate care, educate patients and families, and administer therapies under physician supervision.

Qualifications

• Active Texas or compact RN license required.
• Minimum 1+ year infusion experience.
• 3+ years of RN experience overall.
• Outpatient infusion experience preferred.
• BLS or ACLS certification required.
• Oncology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, coordinate, evaluate and promote continuity of care.
• Assess patient/family needs and provide teaching.
• Prepare and administer therapies under physician supervision.
• Administer medications and blood products with correct dosing and route.
• Obtain pre-authorization and consent forms when applicable.
• Facilitate dose modifications by reviewing labs and protocol.
• Perform venipuncture and manage central lines.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care and treatments.
• Understand reimbursement procedures and charge capture.
