Our client is currently seeking a Registered Nurse for their Oncology clinic.

Location: Webster, TX 77598

Shift: Monday – Friday 08:00 AM – 05:00 PM

Job Type: Contract to Hire

Rate: $50.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute individualized care plans based on nursing theory and patient needs.
• Adjust plans proactively to meet departmental and patient requirements.
• Review lab values and evaluate treatment toxicity before medication administration.
• Maintain legible, concise, accurate, and timely medical records in EMR (Epic preferred).
• Complete clinical logs and ensure accurate charge documentation.
• Accurately administer medications (IV, subcutaneous, intramuscular, oral) per physician orders.
• Start peripheral IVs, access CVADs (including port‑a‑caths), and follow safe practice guidelines.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Graduate from an approved RN program.
• Current Texas RN license.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association).
• ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate Course (within 3 months of hire).
• Proficient in IV therapy, CVAD access, and infusion equipment.
