Job summary

UPMC Hillman Cancer Center is hiring a Regular Full-Time Professional Staff Nurse, ONC (RN) for the Murtha Medical Oncology office in Johnstown, PA. A $6,000 sign-on bonus is offered; daylight schedule, Monday–Friday, with responsibilities across the patient care continuum.

The RN will lead and collaborate with the care team, supervise care delivery, and educate patients and families while advancing oncology nursing practice at UPMC Hillman Cancer Center.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of RN experience required.
• BSN preferred.
• Oncology experience preferred.
• IV skills preferred.
• Ability to work with diverse teams and patients.

Responsibilities

• Actively participates in department quality improvement efforts and aims to improve patient satisfaction.
• Demonstrates accountability for professional development and teamwork within the care delivery team.
• Develops and maintains productive working relationships; communicates safety hazards.
